Aleisha LaNaé Allen was born and raised in New York City, and has been modeling for print and television ads since the age of four. As a six-year-old she appeared on the series "Blue's Clues," and later she became a series regular on the popular Disney TV show "Out of the Box." A singer and ballerina, as well as an actress, Allen starred in the comedy- hit School of Rock with Jack Black. Aleisha Allen was born in the Bronx, New York. Since the young age of four, she has been active in television and print as a model. At the age of six, she took on the reoccurring role of "Side Table Drawer" on the children's television series Blue's Clues. She was also a regular on Disney's television show Out of the Box. Recently she has appeared alongside Jack Black in School of Rock (2003). Allen played "Alicia", one of the children in the class and a musician in the band. In 2005, she played "Lindsey" in Are We There Yet? starring Ice Cube and also in its 2007 sequel, Are We Done Yet?.

Allen attends the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan, NY and is a theater major.
