Miley Cyrus revives ’80 style

Miley Cyrus, a 16-year-old Disney starlet, has brought back the style of the 1980s in the third season of Hannah Montana.

According to costume designer, Dalhia Foroutan, the retro look was created mostly for Miley’s on-stage persona Hannah to wear, but hints of the ’80s have been used in most of the cast’s wardrobe.

Some of the outfits designs were taken from Madonna’s Lucky Star and Like a Virgin days. But the look that influenced the kid’s style the most was that Madonna’s careless look that people of those days remember clearly well.

Jonas Brothers to host CW night

The Jonas Brothers will host a night of 90210 and Privileged on The CW.

Next week, the pop group will be joined by 90210 actress Jessica Lowndes to preview their upcoming movie Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience and show promos and exclusive footage.

Kevin, Joe and Nick will also speak about working in 3D and show a clip from the movie of them performing 'Tonight'.

Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, due in cinemas February 27, will combine footage from their 'Burning Up' tour with backstage footage and guest performances from Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift.

The Jonas Brothers's CW night begins February 10 at 8pm.

David Archuleta Will Sing National Anthem at Pro Bowl

David Archuleta is the latest American Idol alum to show off his patriotic chops when he sings the National Anthem at the NFL Pro Bowl on Sunday.

"[It'll] be my first time in Hawaii! Woot woot!" Archuleta blogs on his MySpace page. "That means more sunshine."

The 18-year-old singer says a church commitment prevented him from seeing Jennifer Hudson's performance on television – but he heard it.

"I called my friend to listen to Jennifer Hudson sing the National Anthem over the phone lol," the singer wrote. "It was so good! Jennifer has pipes! I watched it on YouTube later."

The Idol Season 7 runner-up kicks off his 20-city solo tour on Feb. 24 in Virginia Beach, Va.

Miley Cyrus duets with Taylor Swift

Surprise! These teen icons could team up for a “My ex is from Jonas Brothers” girl club but they know better. Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and best selling singer of 2008 Taylor Swift are going to duet at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards this coming Sunday.

They will perform Swift’s song ‘15.’

I was on tour when I turned 15,” Cyrus said. “The lyrics are really inspiring. …This song is pretty perfect for the Grammys.”

It’s a song I wrote about my freshman year of high school. I wrote it about all you think you know when you’re 15,” Taylor said. “I’m just really glad I was able to put it into words all the things that happened that year.”

Was a well planned Grammy surprise?

We all kind of came to the consensus that ‘Wouldn’ be cool if Miley was up there and we were singing together,’” Swift added.

Ashley Tisdale Gets a Helping Hand from Dad

Dressed in a a white tank top and short-shorts, Ashley Tisdale was spotted out getting a helping hand from her father, Mike, in Los Angeles on Monday (February 2).

With auto maintenance not being her forte, the Disney starlet watched on as her pops filled up her car’s tires with air at a local gas station.

Aside from taking care of her daily duties, Miss Tisdale, 23, recently left her longtime agent Alex Yarosh at the Gersh Agency for CAA representation.

The move comes ahead of the release of her sophomore album, and just after her move away from teh “High School Musical” franchise.
