A while ago, Brooke Hogan's fame could be summed up in two words: Daddy dearest. Brooke is none other than the daughter of wrestling icon Hulk Hogan. For some time, she was largely recognized solely by her last name, but she is in the midst of changing all that.

Born in Los Angeles, California, on February 10, 1991, Emma Roberts has been around the entertainment industry since she was just a baby. The daughter of noted actor Eric Roberts, Emma spent a lot of time on the sets of her her aunt's, Julia Roberts, movies and even worked as an extra on the 2001 film, America's Sweethearts. And although her mother initially wanted Emma to have a normal childhood, her obvious passion for performing couldn't be stifled and her mother finally allowed her to begin the auditioning for parts.

She made her film debut in 2001's Blow, which is also notable as the first movie she ever tried out for. Ironically, Emma still hasn't seen the movie due to its R-rated content, although director Ted Demme did make her a tape consisting entirely of her scenes. She followed Blow with starring roles in a pair of family films, 2002's Grand Champion and the 2006 monkey comedy Spymate. Emma didn't break through, however, until she landed the lead role on the Nickelodeon show Unfabulous in 2004, where she quickly established herself as a likeable and genuinely talented performer (she sings, too!).

In 2005, Emma released her first single, "If I Had It My Way," which appeared in the Disney film Ice Princess. A year later, Emma cemented her status as a bona fide teen queen with her role opposite Sara Paxton and JoJo in Aquamarine. And with her appearance as iconic character Nancy Drew in the movie of the same name, it's clear that Emma is destined to follow in the famous footsteps of her aunt.

Yes, Emma Watson's deal with Chanel has been signed, sealed, delivered - and sees her stealing the Coco Mademoiselle crown (or rather, bowler hat) from Keira Knightley. The Harry Potter star will soon start modelling for the French perfume and fashion house, after signing a two-year contract worth £3million.
"Emma has been slowly integrated into the Chanel brand. They have been dressing her for film premieres and parties over recent months to see if she is the right fit," a source tells the Daily Mail. "Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up. Chanel realises it is important to target a young audience."
Well, indeed. As soon as they're old enough to have a credit card, eh?

Hollyoaks horror as troubled teen Sasha overdoses on heroin

Troubled teen Sasha Valentine will overdose on heroin in a dramatic upcoming episode of Hollyoaks.

The 17-year-old student, played by Nathalie Emmanuel, will resort to injecting the class A drug after boyfriend Fletch dumps her when she suggests they stop smoking it.
However, her despair has tragic results when the former goody-two-shoes of the show falls into a coma.

Brother Calvin finds his sister unconcious in the village after she has slipped into a coma

In a Trainspotting-esque scene, drug dealer Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) puts too much of the drug into her bloodstream and when she passes out in his dingy flat, he dumps her in the street.

Luckily brother Calvin, played by Ricky Whittle, stumbles across Sasha's body and gets her to the hospital while she can still fight for her life.

Initially berating himself for not realising his little sister is taking drugs, his guilt soon turns to anger when he finds out fiancee Carmel (Gemma Merna) knew she had a problem all along.

The policeman ends their engagement and vows to look after his sister, while Ste wonders how long it will be before the village knows he was the dealer behind Sasha's overdose.

Daniel Radcliffe To Star in Miami Vice Remake

Miami Vice was a popular television show from 1984 to 1990. It was remade as an unsuccessful theatrical movie in 2006. Hollywood has decided to recast the series and make it as a television movie. If it is successful, it will also be a possible pilot for a new series.
In the newest version, also to be set in the 1980's, the lead character will be played by teenager Daniel Radcliffe (star of the Harry Potter films). Instead of living on a boat with a pet crocodile named Elvis, however, he will live in a penthouse apartment with three ferrets (named Sophie, Rosie, and Spaz) that provide comic relief.
His partner in this will not be a black cop/detective. She will, instead, be a 400 pound bearded woman known only as J.B. (to be played by the cross dresser Divine.)
The new show will not take place in Miami, but instead will film at a nude beach in France. Miami will be the name of the nightclub/strip club where the two stars hang out after work.
Instead of being officers in a Vice Squad looking for sex offenders, drug dealers, etc., they will be Vice Principals at an all girls school for wayward teens (aged 18 and 19).
Network Executives believe that they can have the show on the air by September, if they ever get back from their over-extended "casting and location scouting" trip to France.

At the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday June 1 2008, the hottest prize — best kiss — is a contest between Daniel Radcliffe and Katie Leung ("Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"), Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer ("Disturbia") and Ellen Page and Michael Cera ("Juno").

Patrick Dempsey gives Amy Adams such a passionate peck of the classic storybook kind in "Enchanted" that he wakes a frozen princess, yes, but it's too cliche, too Disney, thus too anti-cool for the MTV crowd.
You don't have to forget about Robert Hoffman bussing Briana Evigan because we didn't know them in the first place, nor their insignificant sequel — "Step Up 2: The Streets."
I think we can probably shrug off the "Juno" smooch, too, since all the hype — which was always more about the movie than its stars — is over.
This a matchup between Daniel Radcliffe, who has cast a magic spell over movie-goers for years, and hottie-of-the-moment Shia LaBeouf. The latter doesn't have the following that the former does, and "Disturbia" isn't a movie that really matters. So this award goes to the Harry Potter lovebirds.
If Radcliffe kissed LaBeouf, they'd be a cinch to win, considering the duos who've prevailed in this category over the past two years: Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen in "Talladega Nights" and Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in "Brokeback Mountain."

David Archuleta Called 'Genuine Pop Star,' Gets Record Deal

LOS ANGELES - He may have finished 2nd in American Idol, but Utah native David Archuleta is getting pretty much the same reward as the winner.
Thursday, People magazine reported that the 17-year-old from Murray officially signed a deal with 19 Recordings/Jive Records -- to kick off his professional singing career.
Archuleta is currently working on the creation of his first studio-produced album, which is expected to be released later this year. Right now, Archuleta has three songs on the 'Hot 100' chart -- including one that he sang during the finale of American Idol.
Simon Fuller, who created the Fox program and is chief executive of 19 Entertainment Label Group, told the magazine that Archuleta has a "great future ahead of him" and that the teen is a "genuine pop star."
Archuleta shot to fame this year with his performances on Idol, and even made it to the show's finale -- but lost the crown to David Cook, who is also signed to 19 Recordings/Jive Records.
Fans became instantly fond of the Murray High School student, for his talents, good looks and his humility. Despite being on the verge of superstardom, Archuleta isn't taking anything for granted.
"School is really important," he said. "It would be nice to make a living off of [singing], but you never know."
"Signing a recording contract... is truly a dream come true," Archuleta added.
Archuleta will be very busy this year. In addition to making his debut record, he will also spend the summer touring with other performers from American Idol.
The Idols Live Tour starts on July 1, and will come to Salt Lake City on July 14.

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has been caught up in yet another photo scandal after pictures of her posing with a man seven years her senior appeared online.

The younger sister of one time pop star Britney Spears and the 17-year-old Zoey 101 actress is battling it out with Lynne Spears, and she is upset with the favoritism that she believes that big sister Britney has received, a source claims.

According to the report from Star, it's getting so bad that she has told her mom that if she doesn't back off, she'll be completely cut out of her grandchild's life.
