American Idol Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta will make his acting debut on an episode of Nickelodeon’s iCarly, shown in Canada on YTV.
The teen-oriented series is about a high school student who has her own Internet TV show, iCarly. In the episode titled “iRocked the Vote,” Archuleta, 16, plays a contestant on a talent show called America Sings.
His votes go way up after he appears in an iCarly webcast. The episode will air next spring. Archuleta’s self-titled debut album will be released on November 11 on Jive Records.
